Rose and Jeff got married on a weekend that called for non stop torrential rains.  I was so sad, because shooting a wedding at Kunde Winery’s Boot Hill is one of my favorite things, but it’s all outside, with no rain contingency.  So we planned for a rained out ceremony with guests squeezed into a wine cave while it poured out.  But that morning, the rain stopped, the sky remained beautifully gloomy and dramatic but dry, and we were able to do the ceremony on the hill after all!!  Best of all, the glowing, gorgeous, jewel toned colors of the late October grape leaves were even more brilliant and vibrant under that dark grey sky.  Rose and Jeff were amazing to work with, had absolutely gorgeous florals and great senses of humor; and this remains one of my very favorite weddings, in one of my very favorite locations.
