Melissa and Javier got married at the beautiful Sonoma vineyard and wedding venue, St Francis Winery. I love this place! There is so much variety in a centralized space, so guests can experience the beautiful lawn with mountain views during the ceremony, wander into the vineyard during the cocktail hour, and dance indoors once it cools down. This beautiful bride and groom, and most of their guests and vendors, came to Sonoma County from Puerto Rico. I felt so lucky to be their local photographer. The entire ceremony, and most of the toasting, was in Spanish, and although most of the actual language went over my head, the emotions were clear in everyone’s faces. There was so much joy, laughter, beautiful tears in the mix! Not to mention music and dancing. It was a gorgeous evening, and I think M & J are now my friends for life.

They got ready at the Archer Hotel in nearby Napa. Melissa in particular wanted extra photos of herself getting ready, and I can see why. She’s stunning, and so sexy!
