Caitlin and Matt (engagement portraits here) had a beautiful, low key, personalized wedding at the Holly Farm in Carmel Valley this summer. Their florals were beautiful, and arranged in an heirloom silver tea service as well as thrifted flowered tea sets. Caitlin has fabulous long hair (I was scared she would cut it before the wedding!) and instead of having a hairdresser, she whirled it up into her own style right before the wedding. They had a cookie and tea bar instead of cigars or cocktails in the little alcove off the dining area. Everything felt very representative of their quiet style and loving sweetness with each other. It was just right, and very beautiful to be a part of.
I love the Holly Farm! It looks like I’ll be shooting there at least a few times next year, yay! There are tropical flowers, cacti, redwood trees, and just about every kind of plant you can think of. They are so great to work with, too. So much flair, too!
Thank you, Caitlin and Matt! Happy happy marriage, and best wishes with the rest of grad school.
