Part 2 of Christina and Ben’s wedding, featured on Snippet and Ink!
OK… I do love shooting candids, and all of the “event” aspects of the wedding day (getting ready, ceremony, toasts, dances, etc). But photographing a bride and groom, dressed in their most beautiful clothes, in a stunning, perfectly-lit vineyard, just after they’ve gotten married? It’s pretty much the ultimate portrait set up. That’s why I don’t necessarily call myself a “photojournalist” wedding photographer, because although I don’t pose anyone much at all, I do stop them to and have them stand together so that I can photograph the basking in joy face on. And these two were feeling it!
The details were pretty exceptional too.
I seem to be getting extra great kid moments to shoot this year. This one remains one of my favorites!
