We had an amazing Christmas. Love, hugs, snuggles, baby presents, baby joy, good food, sunshine… who needs anything else?!
Symphony’s been having some painful teeth coming through (cannot WAIT until those are over and done with), but she was a great holiday trooper anyway.
From picking out a Christmas tree…

To meeting Santa…

To reading “The Night Before Christmas” with family!

To waking up on Christmas morning to her very own kitchen, fully stocked:

And thoughtful, handmade gifts from friends and family:

(Believe me when I say we have tried everything with this girl’s hair! No amount of deep conditioning can save these frizzies now)

To looking just like Cindy Lou Who from Whovile (or in this case, Symphy Sue Who), even after the pigtail elastics come out!

(Although the hair does go nicely with antlers, yes?)

To eating dinner with her baby cousin, Dylan:

To reenacting last year’s Christmas day, babies-in-diapers photo:

(“We are much too busy to pose like little babies this year!”)

(2010:)

To more cousin hugs and kisses the day after Christmas:

To helping clean up:

(Beautiful Harper!)

To waiting semi-patiently for newer cousin Ada to wake up from her nap for a few minutes of play (just before Harper and Symphony had to take their naps).

… Symphony was curious, amazed, goofy, and lovely, through it all. She brings us so much joy, and 2011 was by far my favorite Christmas ever! Love, love, love my sweetest Symphony.
